Cinematic Belgian beatmaker based in Brugge. Hip-hop roots, drawn toward mood-first electronic music — downtempo, lo-fi soul, ambient R&B.
SKRØKKØP is a cinematic beatmaker — rooted in hip-hop production but drawn toward atmospheric, mood-first electronic music. Beats built to work equally as a listening experience and as the backdrop for someone else's words.
As a producer for others, the sound is the sonic architecture of introspective Flemish hip-hop — deep, emotionally weighted beats built to serve lyrically conscious rap. Most extensively as the instrumental half of Infinite Joy's Moedertaal trilogy (Bredene / Travel Light) and on Cold Storage, alongside production work for Samoerai, Vorre and Connard of the Phatmark Crew, and Siebrand.
As a solo artist, the catalogue tells a different story. Titles like Twilight Love, Venus Rising, The Night Is Fading, Holy Ground, Burning Bridges and the 2024 album Nomad point toward a cinematic, atmospheric sound — closer to downtempo electronic, lo-fi soul and mood-driven ambient R&B than traditional hip-hop.
One album. Two EPs. Thirty-plus singles. Making music since 2012. Based in Brugge since 2014. Still here. Still making.
